I couldn't help picturing the ancient Egyptians actually trying to build a pyramid starting with a bit at the top, doing a slightly lower bit, then maybe 2/5ths of a bit below that, then up a bit, maybe add another layer on the bottom. I think I'm reading too much into this simile.
I can't believe that that Ukat were the one you had trouble coming up with. They felt so well defined and fleshed out. As I read through your article I thought that the Vol were going to be the odd one out. They felt empty and lacking. I think maybe I was hoping for more depth to the quests where you choose which side to go with and more substantial of a ending when the rebels seize power.
Overall though, fun game. Appreciate how you changed things up from your prior works.
